i've done my fair share of odd jobs in the past (the best example maybe being a worker at the canned food factory.... that was such a donald duck- summer...ugh) but this was the best one. just a couple of nights of dipping candles in dye and then packing them all christmasie. totally jump started my christmas spirit early this year. the factory is a part of the folkmuseum in bygdøy. everything is made by hand and by a real person. i just hadn't realized that making candles is such a craft. it was such a lovely way of earning a couple of extra krones for the holidays. maybe now there will actually be presents to give out.... hah. or a pair of new shoes in my closet.
